Lakers-Pacers trade talks stall, LA unwilling to part ways with 2027 & 2029 picks
Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported yesterday that the Los Angeles Lakers continued talks with the Indiana Pacers about a potential trade.
The deal involved Indiana giving up shooting guard Buddy Hield and big man Myles Turner for two unprotected first-round picks.
But the Lakers thought the request was too high. Former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe react to the report:
âIf the Lakers want Buddy Hield and Myles Turner they need to give up Russell Westbrook and the two first-round picks ⊠Otherwise, stop calling the Pacers GM phone!â
