Perhaps Delonte West isn’t the best player the NBA has ever seen, but he was dedicated to the sport and a hard worker on and off the court. His dream of becoming a professional basketball player began when the Boston Celtics chose him as the 24th overall pick in the 2004 draft. But over the course of a few years, he went from being loved by fans for his sense of humor, to being ridiculed for his personal struggles:
