Prominent China’s slave labor critic Enes Kanter Freedom shared some of his thoughts about the news that a bunch of NBA principal owners collectively have more than $10 billion tied up in communist China:

“For the NBA, moral matter until money or business are involved. So that is the one thing that was breaking my heart. And all these owners, there are 50 NBA owners, are making profit off of slave labor.”

Enes Kanter Freedom – an outspoken human rights activist – was traded by the Boston Celtics to Houston Rockets at the trading deadline. The Rockets waived him on Feb. 14.

The free-agent NBA big man has played 11 seasons for 5 teams, including the Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz. He has averaged 11.2 points and 7.8 rebounds in 748 regular-season games.
