Hornets share status update for Gordon Hayward ahead of play-in game vs. Pacers

Charlotte Hornets shared an update on Gordon Hayward situation ahead of the play-in clash against the Indiana Pacers. The veteran forward have been sidelined since April 2.

He suffered a foot injury that kept him out for six weeks so far. According to Charlotte, Hayward will not be available for their Tuesday play-in game.

Hayward had an excellent season prior to his injury averaging 19.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting an efficient 47.3% from the field and 41.5% from 3-point range.

Charlotte finished the regular season with a 33-39 record that ranked them for the 10th best record in the Eastern Conference.
