B. Braun Sheffield Sharks last night announced Jordan Ratinho as the second player signing for the upcoming 2021-22 BBL season.

The 6’5″ guard is a product of the University of San Francisco and arrived in Sheffield mid-season after starting his professional career in Germany.

“Jordan definitely made his mark last season and were delighted he is returning,” said Sharks GM Sarah Backovic.

“He turned out to be one of our most consistent guards and we are hoping that he can carry that into this year.”

Originally from Concord, California averaged 11.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 41.8 field goal percentage in the BBL Championship last season with the Sharks.

“It’s great to have Jordan back on board,” added Head Coach Atiba Lyons.

“He was able to integrate so quickly into the team last season. He brings so many things to the table, his shooting ability, defence, confidence to handle the ball and finish in traffic. We’re looking forward to picking up where we left off and build off all the work that was done.”

Jordan Ratinho joins Captain Mike Tuck as the first two signings of the summer.
